Gosh, I was closer with / hold this app in the way I used to use Twitter. I’d just scream for three days straight if I could provide commentary / a tweet right now…

For months, I’ve been spiraling in fear and trying hard to keep my head up in the disability rights movement. The greatest gifts in my work is my connection to elders. Today, one said to me: “Don’t worry dear, we’re gunna be alright.” From him, it meant something and boy did I need it. 🤍✊🏼

It’s the philanthropic x wealthy person that’s willing to dismantle their internalized ableism, be really uncomfortable, and willing to be educated by disabled people that I hope we attract as a movement. Teach each other about what is ‘effective,’ engage in dialogue, and move collectively…

I’m going to try and treat this like the custom URL feed I put in to my MySpace at around 14 yrs old. I’d add status updates before Twitter 🫠 Here’s to moving toward the teenage fearless transparency @bsky.app
