I do videogame stuff. Also cyber security stuff. Also I run a makerspace. And do locksport stuff. Oh I cook too. And I don't have anything of value to say.
Delivery drivers: I understand that the doors in your life slide left and right or up and down. My door, however, opens outward. This should be reasonably clear by the fact that it's on a house, but we all make mistakes. Or maybe your goal was to trap me in my own home. Either way.
Oh, crap! Another new toy arrived. Now I'm wildly in over my head.
New toy arrived today! CI Pick Pocket. Fits in the condom pocket, also meant to go on the belt, but I like it in the little pocket atm. Feels good, absolutely usable, should solve my problem with not wanting to bring my whole set everywhere. Check it out! covertinstruments.com/products/pic...
We may have gone a little overboard in upping our training capacity. Oh well, looks like our standard kit can do 12 people at a time now with the addition of these!
Forgot to mention I was away. Well now I'm returning!
I bought some neat old locks today. And I spent more than I should have doing it. If you know about these, tell me!
Makerspace got a really neat donation today. These things are terrifying. Check out this one showing its thousands of stitches per minute
Little bit of the monthly locksport meetup, repining to make things harder on myself. I like the pain.
I'm no stranger to travel. I spent a number of years working for a hotel company and traveling the country professionally. But that was nearly 10 years ago. Sometimes I glorify travel in my mind and forget the reality, but man I've done 6 cons this year, still have at least one more, and I'm TIRED.
Not only was the costume perfect, he had the entire animation cycle down as well. People were stopping him for photos and he would perfectly pose. Awesome.
Our friends at Sparrows lockpicks helped me get my hands on 10 of their revolver trainers. Picked my way around, excited to repin and keep going. Check it out here: www.sparrowslockpicks.com/products/the... #totallynotshilling
This has got to be something special for that low a price.
I didn't buy too much mixer, I simply bought too little desk
Man this year is a lot of cons for me, already up to 4 and I've got at least one more scheduled for August!
Bridges and Bourbon is really worth the trip to Pittsburgh
Guess I'm on my way to Pittsburgh for Tekko this week! Anyone else?
Everyone always asks me, after an event, where to get picks and locks. So, this is that: the "Where do I get picks and locks" guide, as of July 2026. Please, always check Toool's site for CI products, especially if you're a member and getting the discount! 1/12
Let's hear it for "I already blew a bunch of money so might as well keep up the trend" post-gdq lunch
I gave someone my phone the other night and now it's just full of pictures of my feet. Here, I'll share.
Starting the morning off right with an Irish Coffee. At noon. Look, it's vacation.
