imo, “tax the rich” resonates because there is an inherent unfairness in the tax code that favors the wealthy. Yes, the middle class needs to pay taxes. However, in a system that favors capital over labor, we need to know that the ultra wealthy are net contributors.

There’s simply no way to turn a regular plane into a mobile command center for a nuclear-armed nation in 10 months. Even allowing Trump to fly on the Qatari plane is a security risk.
