Note-takers are the unsung heroes of TC39. Without them, no progress could be made. It is right to give them thanks and praise. Here's to those who helped at this week's meeting! 🥳👏🙌 👇

We are THRILLED to announce that our Ecma standards will now use UUIDs instead of integers. ECMA-262 is now ECMA-39c506d7-731f-4220-8ffd-a68970945a65. Far more scalable. No two specs will ever collide again. Perfect system. Shortened forms like ECMA-39c506d7 are acceptable in casual conversation.

Last week we were able to present @robpalmer.bsky.social with his physical Ecma Recognition Award! 🎉 This was followed by an extensive round of tributes and praise, which Rob endured somewhat uncomfortably, at every opportunity urging us to cease and attend to the waiting celebratory Temporal cake.

ECMAScript Euphoria! 🎉 We don't always post when a single proposal advances, but when we do, it's Temporal -> Stage 4. Just days shy of 9 years from Stage 1, a herculean effort on the part of many champions, delegates, invited experts, and contributors, past and present. Thank you all! 🙌
