I draw things and drink coffee. Sometimes at the same time.

Khamil the fishmonger is the richest man in the (rather small) village. He is also very persistent. Sadly those are his only two qualities and Shalina only has room for ONE fish smelling person in her life. #shalina #weasel

A comic of a female weasel and a male camel talking, while the female is gutting a fish.
Camel: Greetings my future lover.
Weasel: I have a knife.
Camel: I promise to wash the fish smell off before our lovemaking.
Weasel: Don't. It masks the stench of your body.
Camel: So you say you WILL bed me if I don't wash?
Weasel: I still have the knife.

Camel: Now, before you threaten me with the knife...
Weasel: Wasn't going to?
Camel: Really?
Weasel: It didn't seem to be working...
*she holds up two bricks*
Weasel: ...so I brought these bricks.

Art isn't always made consciously. It can happen in the moment it meets its audience. As I was shopping for juice a scraping sound alerted me to a shelf full of products majestically sliding into place, closing the aisle into a cul-de-sac. Surrealist art, just for me. This is how Dook comics happen.

She walked into a door again. Yes, twice. No, she doesn't need help. Please don't be seen talking with her or she might walk into a door even harder the next time.

An anthropomorphic female fox is standing in front of a door, about to unlock it with a key. She is clutching her purse tightly, looking scared and glancing over her shoulder. She is wearing large sunglasses, and her fur and hair are dishevelled.

Roma day today. Santed to draw something nice. I picked a goldfinch. They're unobtrusive and resilient birds with beautiful plumage and song. I thought it was fitting. Found myself struggling with the drawing though, couldn't conjure a happy mood. But then I have no obligation to. Neither does she.
