Stop-mo PNGtuber for @foxander.bsky.social in the style of Fantastic Mr. Fox. Foxander messaged me about the idea and it seemed so cool! He sent me drawings and screenshots for the idea I got to work, it took a bit, but I streamed most of the process and am happy with the result! #3dart #vtuber
Just found one of the only images remaining of me playing hand drums with my old band. Inexplicably in a bookstore.
I tried the at-home doner kebab recipe & it worked well! Just mix up meat with some grated onion, yogurt, & spices, squish thin between layers of parchment paper, roll, bake, and you get decent fake doner meat.
Time for another Comic Book Cuisine article. This time, we're going to Jokerize those fries! Taking inspiration from the Batburger scene from @tomking.bsky.social 's Batman #16. www.patreon.com/aethanbear/p...

Before the whole chain closed recently, I went to a Painted Tree store, which was billed as “Etsy in real life”: 100+ craft booths. It was 95% drop-shipped AI slop.

I've never been to a Dutch Bros coffee, but apparently their most popular drinks include The Golden Eagle™, The Annihilator™, Double Torture™, and The 911™. Is this coffee to drink in your Humvee while wearing wraparound shades or what?

I helped taste-test these and very much agree with Aethan's review! The canned peaches worked surprisingly well with the chili and hotdog, and the fries added great texture & crunch. But the egg just made it very hard to eat and extra sloppy.
Starting a new series of articles on my (still free) Patreon called Comic Book Cuisine. My plan is to take foods made popular in or introduced by DC Comics and make and eat them in real life. This week, I tackle the insanity of...the Metropolis Dog. www.patreon.com/aethanbear/p...
Throwback to the time my nephew (now a teen) went to the Columbus Zoo and Jack Hannah, wearing a ridiculous fake mustache, was working at one of the snack stands selling popcorn. He signed his hat and said "Don't tell anyone you saw me."

Saw the 1931 pre-Code tabloid journalism movie FIVE STAR FINAL last night, with a fantastic Edward G. Robinson as the volatile editor and a slimy, pre-Frankenstein Boris Karloff as a skeezy reporter. Wm. Randolph Hearst tried to bury this movie for attacking him and it's easy to see why.
I very much appreciate that every news story about Lindsey Graham's passing pretty much consists of "He was a spineless quisling who did nothing positive for anybody."
