I had no idea Tuesdays with Morrie was based on real-life events when I picked it up. It left me with tears in my eyes and a full heart. A beautiful story about life, death, and all the little things that matter in between. 💙📚

I run on coffee, cold weather, and dark humor. The coffee is non-negotiable. Reading quiets my overworked brain. ⋆.˚ ☾⭒.˚d10❄️❄︎♕♞♔#❄︎❄️d12⋆.˚ ☾⭒.⋆
Harbinger by Geneva Lee is easily one of my favourite reads this year. A beautiful slow-burn romantasy with magic, witches, stars, incredible world-building, and so many lovable characters I struggled to pick a favourite. I very much just inhaled this book for the past two days. Also... Bishop! 📚💙

Not bad for such a stupidly busy month. It helped that half were read in fun company (SSS 🤍). A love letter to whiskey - absolutely yes! Songbird in the gallows - also yes! Almond - it's a mix of soft and sad but yes! Before the coffee gets cold - it's beautiful! Vicious lost boys - no. 📚💙

Started last night, already devoured 5 chapters. "the thing about whiskey is that it’s a stubborn drink that refuses to be ignored. It doesn’t just sit on a shelf in a pretty bottle and wait patiently. No, it clamors for attention, and that was just shitty news for thirsty fools like me." 💙📚
How long is an acceptable amount of time before you DNF a book? Asking because I've made several sincere attempts to read this one but apparently my brain has decided it's a sedative. It's been nearly 2 weeks. 🥴
Who among us hasn’t dreamt of slowly descending down a stone spiral staircase with a torch in hand and discovering a hidden candlelit library filled with thousands of centuries-old novels and being welcomed by a friendly-yet-misunderstood library ghost?

Books read over the past two months. Not in order, not organized, and probably missing one I forgot about. I just kept adding them as I remembered them. Summer is apparently not my most productive reading season, but there are some really good ones in here. 💙📚🌶

New ramble. A trip to the vet, books, life things, and a huge amount of time spent worrying about a certain cat. (Since I recorded this we got the diagnosis, Jack was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease, the feline equivalent of crohn's. 😩) soundgasm.net/u/temptedeli...
