I've climbed 11% of the mountains in Colorado

Four years ago, I hiked Headwaters Hill and Antora Peak. The NFS has allowed grazing on these peaks, and as a result, they are almost completely covered in cow shit. Near the top of Headwaters Hill literally every step was in cow shit. It is totally insane to destroy our public land like this

The Bureau of Land Management is rewriting rules for ranching on public lands to allow more livestock grazing in the West. Overgrazing has degraded public lands, and the overhaul would expand the practice, rangeland experts say. w/ @highcountrynews.org

Went to the climbing gym for the first time in like 2 months today. Can definitely tell I've lost some strength and endurance, but I had a pretty good session! V4 slab flash and I did all the moves on a 5.12a (I think I'll send it next time!!)

I love planning hikes and knowing all the details but sometimes it's really fun to just have a bunch of peaks and trailheads marked on the map and just seeing how many you can do, and then at the end of the day be like "oh shit I guess we did 5k ft of vert that's cool"
