Got to love it when my country's leader has not made a comment, and our state owned media is still quoting the justifications and writing things about Is It LeGaL?
Also been designing gridfinity compatible soldering tool holders, inspired by solder.pro. I don't have 6mm magnets which is the gridfinity standard, so I designed for 5mm, but the placement of the magnets are distanced to be compatible with 6mm magnets tool holders
Been designing some angle blocks for setting and referencing angles, when sharpening chisels, not sure if they're as useful as I thought but I'm quite proud of the dovetail solution to combine angles though
"You have 1 notification you may not have seen." Thanks instagram for wasting my time clicking into the email, I'm going to deliberately not log into instagram for another few months just because of how irritating that email was
I've been trying to use AI agents for work, it gets a lot of fundamental things wrong and in an overly verbose way, at the end I always have to prompt something like "can we simplify this to the bare minimum" and fix it myself I feel like this is a side effect of LLMs trained on textual input
what's wild is that I'm both, articles for code, tech & news, video for most other things
The real generational divide is people who refuse to watch a video if it could be an article versus people who refuse to read an article if it could be a video
Looks like ghimli ready enter the battle of helmsdeep
Bring it on! :3
I feel like there's a huge difference in the comparisons here, and I'm not going to elaborate more🙃
Apple survived Steve Jobs. Microsoft thrived after Gates. If Tesla can’t survive Musk, maybe it deserves its decline. www.theindex.media/p/a-trillion...
Got the last pair of handwraps, they happen to be the only color I use, pink.
I feel like workday didn't need enshitification to be bad
It’s cringe to see successful companies that have nothing to do with AI rebrand themselves as “an AI platform” because they think it will somehow help them. Workday is a HR platform. Sure, they added AI features like everyone else but it was never “built with AI at the core”
Since Teams already merges my calendar, my onedrive, my hr platform via external apps, and presumably my first born child's information, why can't they just throw email client into the mix
I don't think I've ever taken a scoot flight in the past 10 years that was on time
When your hard-ass Muay Thai instructor who gives no chances asks if you're ok, you know you're out of shape 😂
Procrastinating on soldering my trackball mouse project to reinvent a low profile inline vice (inspired by kreg's design www.amazon.sg/KREG-KBCIC-K...)
Now that I'm fully recovered from dengue I'm back to working on the trackball from $2 mouse project, finally desoldered everything and resoldered my own wires on, gave it a test to make it work and cut it all apart again to put better connectors
Desoldered most of the components on the mouse, testing the scroll wheel at the bottom setup, not the best but seems good enough™️ for me
I'm out of the loop, what's the sudden change that made everyone so pessimistic about bluesky?
Gonna attend FE systems design interview for the first time soon, any tips?
How do companies usually announce less benefits? Surely it's not "We're excited to announce a new benefit structure" and hope no one notice
Ok I think at this point I've procrastinated everything there is to do for my diy trackball and I must now desolder all the switches and encoders
