My heart is still so full, even 2-1/2 hours after the fact. Tonight's contemplative spirituality group for LGBTQ+ people and our allies was really meaningful. 14 of us gathered, from all over Canada and the US, to experience the Divine together.

Just call God “she” or “her” or “mother” and you will find out very quickly how many Christians refuse to see God’s image in women. As if calling God by a feminine pronoun is demeaning to God rather than naming part of who God is. This is the worship of patriarchy.

If our Christianity causes the abused to be ignored, the stranger to be unwelcome, kids to go hungry, the sick to go without healthcare, and our planet to be disregarded all while billionaires get richer, we've profoundly misunderstood the most basic elements of Jesus' teachings.

I wrote this poem a few years ago for a friend who was in a dark time personally. I've been thinking about it since the shooting in Tumbler Ridge because I've needed this reminder that there are sparks of light and hope. May it be so for all of us. poemingout.wordpress.com/2023/01/21/f...

Round 2! Still asking for donations- (CA and Venmo- ladyasterianox) I need to be near Hartford from Tuesday to Friday, that's three nights. I need a place to stay and food. I also need an Uber Friday morning for my Spravato appointment. (Gas for my car is covered! ✅) A short thread.

Good morning, beloved. Our humanity is worth protecting. In a world that often seeks to starve the soul, make sure to slow down and nourish it. Today is a great day to overcome evil with good.

Eighteen of us gathered tonight in our Monday night queer contemplative spirituality group. We come from all over the US and Canada, from many backgrounds. We come as we are; experience God together through music, readings and the words of our friends; and see what happens.

What a beautiful evening... I'm always grateful for our Monday night contemplative spirituality group for LGBTQ+ people and our allies. We come as we are, experience God, and see what happens. Tonight, 12 people gathered from all over the US and Canada, including one newcomer.

Hey, neighbors. If you can do so without difficulty, please consider helping a very good-hearted and deserving mutual acquaintance of mine to continue feeding herself and her children. I've given what small help I can, but they're still a few hundred shy of their goal. gofund.me/99dd1c13b
