The Invite is what happens when Xennials graduate from raunchy comedies to a strained and bitter Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Era, but still wish they were carefree, getting high and having better sex. I loved it and cracked up at some of Seth Rogen’s lines.
So the sketchy dance club in downtown Indy is closing. Where am I gonna find free cover, dance/stim by myself under happy lights to music so loud it rattles my organs, and watch people make bad decisions now? 😭
Ok, for a movie based off action figures, Masters of the Universe didn't suck. How can you hate bright colors, glam rock, dumb fight scenes and a message from the muscle guy that muscles don't make a man. *Gasp!* It's Barbie for divorced dads!

The Odyssey
When I first heard that Christopher Nolan was taking on The Odyssey and putting Matt Damon in the starring role as Odysseus, I was worried. You see, I was that nerdy kid deep into Greek mythology and loved this tale since I was twelve. This is the original road trip story! With crazy side quests, romance and a longing to get home on both sides of the sea, all with Gods and monsters keeping one man, too smart for his own good, from his home and family.

I was hoping to get a shower hours ago, but my kid distracted me with Harry Potter and my husband broke a pipe so we got no water and the plumber is here (thank goodness) but now I don't think I'll make it to see Hadestown today! 😭
