Alligatoren spüren instinktiv wenn Wasser beginnt, zu Eis zu erstarren. Um nicht unter der Eisdecke zu ersticken, stecken sie ihre Schnauzen aus dem Wasser und lassen sich in dieser Position einfrieren.

Ein Krokodil hebt seinen Kopf aus dem Wasser, das Maul weit geöffnet, sodass die scharfen Zähne sichtbar sind. Der Kopf ist offenbar im Eis festgefroren.

44K views · 1.1K reactions | 🆘🆘 MORE THAN 20 ANIMALS DUMPED IN THE NIGHT! This is what we arrived to today! We don't have room for any new animal, not to mention 20! We do not have food to feed the ones we have, so what are we supposed to do? We can not take even one animal to the vet because of our debt, so we are just going to watch them die? Someone RIPPED kittens of different ages away from their real moms, and dumped them with two moms to the shelter. One of the moms is sick and probably has already infected all the kittens! And now we need to decide do we 1. Dump the new kittens and the moms to the streets? 2. Choose 20 of the existing animals in our care to dumb to the streets (many of them sick and in need of treatment too)? Those are the two options we have at the moment! Additionally they abandoned a puppy that we don't have a foster place for... So do we 1. Dumb one of our foster puppies to the streets? 2. Pay for dog hotel and stop treating some of our sick animals? 3. Take it to the shelter to get infected with parvo and canine distemper and make room by abandoning one of the dogs already in our care? Just so the puppy can die from infection? People please, we are COMPLETELY FULL! At this point we do not have any other option that either dump animals from the shelter or stop their life saving treatment! There is no magic chest where we get money from, no endless amounts of "one more". There is nothing we can give at the moment to any new animal! We can hardly keep the door open until tomorrow! If you can please donate and help us make it to tomorrow and if you can FOSTER, please message us immediately! We are drowning and the only "rescue" that is happening with people that abandon to the shelter, is making US decide who gets to live and who we abandon.
