No matter your gender, you have every right to love and to be loved in return🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Expressing that love should never be hindered or questioned. Such a basic human experience has somehow become overly complicated. Let’s come together and restore a world where love can be shown openly and joyfully.

In talking to friends, family, and my therapist, my feelings on the s&box community have begun to crystallize. Noticed I wasn't banned from the Steam discussions for s&box, so I posted. A video will come soon, and I will articulate as best I can the shape of the anguish that Garry has caused.

A message from ducc in the Steam community discussions that reads as follows: The s&box Discord is not a safe space for queer and disabled people, and I've personally observed countless examples of bullying under Garry's watch. I've spoken to at least a dozen people who have stopped making games or content for s&box specifically because of the hostility and bigotry allowed to flourish within the s&box community. Making games is my creative outlet, and I shouldn't be attacked for who I am just for making art. I used to make lots of games and cool little tech demos for s&box - I even won a cash prize in a contest - but my passion and joy were stolen by those who act as though everyone who is different should be mocked. It breaks my heart to see a community and engine I care about wither away like this. Now, Facepunch is retaliating against critics. If you say something that Garry doesn't like - for example "please stop, you're harming your community" - he will ban you. There is no accountability, and therefore no ability to trust. Making s&box is not like making Rust. Who will make games on s&box if you scare away all the weird, queer, and marginalized artists who actually make cool new stuff? The world of s&box becomes ever smaller, even as player counts rise. Fix your heart or flop.
