Every species has a story—but without a name, that story may never be told. 🌍✨ On May 23, we celebrate #Taxonomy, the science that names, classifies, and describes life on #Earth. We invite you to join us—discover how on our website 🔗 tettris.eu/trd/

🎧 During the #TETTRIs project, innovative ways of engaging citizens were explored through music. Groups of young people took part in nature excursions alongside a biologist and musicians, encouraging them to observe, pause, and truly listen.

🟣Many women contribute to the future of taxonomy. Meet Amelie Höcherl, an early-career taxonomist working on parasitoid wasps (Microgastrinae) and recently involved in the description of a new species from the German Alps: Illidops oroseira #WomenInScience #Taxonomy

The TEOSS project carried out its 5 field campaign, a 9-day expedition across Sierra Nevada. Led by El Bosque Animado and supported by TETTRIs, this mission aimed to record Orthoptera species that are scarce, poorly documented, or even absent from existing sound libraries.
