I’m sad to see that the #Tigers had a fire-sale and went into full-on rebuild mode. Prior to so much great talent departing I really thought they had a chance to make a deep run into the playoffs. They still may get there. At least the Tigers management was decisive.

If this doesn't push the MLB toward a hard cap AND floor nothing will. The damage being done to baseball by not addressing the disparity between the teams with and without resources is substantial. If it takes a shortened season to bring the players around to that fact, so be it. #Astros

How much damage is done when championships are bought?
My youngest recently signed-on to an offshore supply vessel based down near Freeport. On arrival the captain made it clear that if he wasn't MAGA, he wasn't welcome. He is well-traveled and very used to different cultures as he has lived in a handful of countries and visited 10x that many. More ..
I’ve always thought he was a good backstop. Unlikely the team could get their hooks on him and hang on to him in free agency next year. I know. Not a priority but even modest position improvements could be significant #Astros
