Watching F2 to see what Madring's all about. Feels like a track with potential but also some unnecessarily tough chicanes. I forsee one of those multi penalty races that make it tedious to figure out placements at the flag. Also where's Herta? Lower than 21st?

Hmm wasn't playing when this came out but I recall they had a mechanic to do the Romulan remote controlled drone ships (they had to nuke the holoskin mechanic - turned out OP). But the idea of using the drones to show up with mission skills is interesting 🤔. They'd be less targetable than personnel

All the righteous praise and sadness around Peter Cullen's death suddenly reminded me about my other favourite VA Peter (and in a different way, also a formative voice of my childhood), Peter Marinker. Similarly 85 and, as it turns out, also Canadian.

Is this fun? Had a friend try to mod the rules of the RPG we played so it was like this and we had to explain that we were looking for fun not a tedious real life simulator where our characters were as ineffectual physically as we were in reality.

Ok SNW time. It's already better than the last 3 weeks and titles have only just started. The Chapel/M'benga bit feels a bit like a particular Ashford/Drummer bit on the Expanse but there are worse homages to pull 😉

Tim Curry had so many amazing performances. One that I think gets forgotten is Cardinal Richelieu in Disney’s THE THREE MUSKETEERS (1993). He’s in full on villain mode in a very entertaining kids’ adventure film. Menacing and funny at the same time, absolutely chews the scenery.

I can't quite quantify why, it's a kind of 'uncanny valley' thing but imo this is one of worst pieces of crap they've put out. Everything looks.... Off. Proportions are all over the shop.

I continue to spend my days in this pseudo multi national corporation (owned by a larger proper multi national itself owned etc etc) going 'this isn't how you make things work, right? Didn't anyone go to business school and learn about implementation or project management?'
