I don’t believe people care about how Christopher Nolan adapted The Odyssey. I truly don’t. It’s just another example of manufactured outrage from bored internet trolls. The story has been reimagined thousands of times over centuries, pretending that matters for this film is disingenuous at best.
I got my first feedback from my first novel. In April, I had never written so much as a short story. Today, I have a completed manuscript (it still needs work, but I’m on version 3) and someone who actually read my manuscript cover to cover and enjoyed it. Best thing this year.

The First Law Trilogy, by Joe Abercrombie. Each book is a season, followed by 3 films, each adapting one of the three spin-off books. Best Served Cold on the big screen would be an incredible experience.
