Just finished watching the Tatiana Maslany-lead Keeper. It was a weird-ass trip of a horror movie with some wild cinematography and excellent creature designs. It’s an average movie with some standout VFX. Good enough for a popcorn movie when there’s nothing else to watch that won’t waste your time

Finally watched Disclosure Day and what a plodding heap of horseshit that was. It’s depressing that this is what Steven Spielberg has come up with, a movie so dull and pedestrian that it makes Contact look good in comparison. Thank god I didn’t pay to see this.

Look, I don’t get the chance to co-op games with groups of people these days. It’s honestly depressing. But I’m going to need folks to Go on a Big Walk with.

Watched #SpiderManBrandNewDay for my birthday and loved it. Definitely felt like the strongest entry, with some great development and welcome surprises. Lots of emotional highs (based on the sniffles of the Japanese lady crying next to me). As a gift to myself, I also picked up this model kit.

Okay, my impression of this game went up even higher for a particular video game reason. I feel like you can judge a game’s quality by the design and impact of a shotgun. Just found one in the demo and it was VERY satisfying. Solid sound, damage and a real weighty knock-back impact on enemies.

Playing the Anomalith demo and so far it feels like a tactical RE-style Control. Some good first impressions. Particularly though I appreciate the gutsy in-game wishlist promotion for the games 😅

Like, where the fuck is the dopamine coming from when you use AI if you’re not actually engaging your brain? AI slop is the absence of critical or constructive thinking. If lack of thought is where you get your jollies from, then maybe you’re a fucking moron to begin with.

So this AI-riddled and undisclosed game came out today and I have two particular thoughts. The first is that gaming publications need to be a LOT more analytical of games they have yet to review so slop like this don’t get to add misleading quotes to Steam pages. My second thought is that /1

Recently picked up Lunarium and it’s a really delightful action adventure game. Really nice character designs, color palette and deliberate combat. It has a feel of an isometric Ender Lilies while not as grim-dark. Also kinda gay (complimentary).
