Any time I see a post of someone saying something like "uh, characters are meant to be tools in a story, examine the themes" I imagine they just got delivered a devastating truth bomb on a shitty character they liked and now they wanna pretend they're on some higher ground of literary truths

Minor update on the Empress (Future) Sage fancomic. I just drafted several pages tonight and I plan to get the ball rolling fully now that I have a basic outline. We're still probably a while from it being done, but I know I've been silent ever since I announced I was doing another one. Sippy
I'm working on a warped city-scape drawing right now and I've never understood why my blocks in older attempts never looked right. I just realized it's because I never drew intersections, only roads leading to and from the focal point. I'm fucking stupid.

my favorite episode of star trek enterprise was one where the b plot was ensign sato trying to figure out lieutenant malcom's favorite food so she made the chief medical officer violate patient-doctor confidentiality to find out and the episode ends with this "oh you card" ass screenshot
tip for learning how to draw hands: think of them as another way to express & emote and it's a lot more fun. they are like the faces of the arms
Keep hearing devs say that they only use ai for "pre-concept art" There is no pre-concept art. There is concept art. That's where the idea starts. With the concept. You're using ai for concept art.
