So, it’s not a conspiracy, and you are not imagining it. The biggest and wealthiest tech leaders are genuine fascists. They are leading an active and intentional systematic attack on labor. And they have radicalized each other while sidelining or removing the remaining decent execs in the industry.
Food companies wanted deregulation. Now there are dozens of recalls across the country. Mining companies wanted deregulation. Now the black lung rate is at a 45-year high. Financial companies wanted deregulation. Now financial losses to fraud are the highest on record. Noticing a pattern?
When I was a child, every now and then my family would have a special dinner: srevotfel. It was always delicious and never the same. It wasn't until I was older that I realized it was just "leftovers" backwards and my mother was crafting a meal out of whatever remained of previous meals.
Took this today with my phone from the deck of a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean. I've seen three or four solar eclipses in my life, but this is by far the clearest and best I've ever seen. A singular experience I'll likely never repeat.

I find it weird when families take separate flights in case of catastrophy, but you know they all ride around in the same car on the regular.

I mean, frankly, pretty much every country should be denying visas to our officials since this administration hasn't shown respect to very many nations. At least deny all underlings and only let the top guys in. Rubio, yes, but no one else from State unless he's with them.

He kept comparing it to Vietnam, and unfortunately he's likely to be right. We may not be able to end the war in Iran until a new president is elected. And even then they'll be fighting a whole lot of sunk cost fallacy after 3 years of conflict.

Call out the hypocrisy for your own sake, not for them. They'll never feel shame about it because having two standards, one for themselves and one for everyone else, is exactly their goal.
You either break up the monopolies so that real competition can exist to equalize the market, or you accept that it has to be a monopoly, nationalize it, and remove shareholders and profit to keep prices down.
When it comes out that Mitch was dead the entire time, I would like it if every person who lied about it to prevent a special election to be charged with some form of election tampering/fraud. Because that's what it is. It'll have to come from the state though. Trump's DOJ won't lift a finger.
Any restaurant that serves ICE agents deserves to have no other customers. Hotels that let ICE agents stay deserve to have no other occupants. Being an ICE agent should be disqualifying for participating in polite society, and those that cater to them should reap no rewards.

There's this great scene in The Rocketeer where the Feds and the Mob are standing side by side fighting the Nazis. They look at each other, then go back to fighting Nazis. Reading folks say that Dems need to fight the DSA makes me think of that scene, and sad. Dems should focus on fighting Nazis.
