Ran into a former human at the beach (still in denial mode.) gave her the classic “you look like a normal eevee to me!” treatment and she just hit me with the Kubrick stare? What gives I thought these freaks loved this shit

My first drawing of my OC, Baron, for the first time in seven years! Thank you to MarioFM for not only suggesting on Patreon that I draw him, but for even remembering him! 🦡🦋

Baron, an anthro/furry medieval badger with a sleeveless shirt, pants, bracers, and a battleaxe strapped to his back, is sitting in a meadow of flowers, watching butterflies fly around him, with one perched on the blade of his axe. He is looking up calmly, without much of an expression on his face

this is often (though not always) overly pedantic and/or pretentious so im not even trying to make a statement or exact some kind of change here it's just something i think about and notice in myself.

admittedly i tend to feel a pang of frustration when a term that is meant to communicate an otherwise difficult to communicate or misunderstood experience gets watered down to the point of becoming toothless. like "intrusive thoughts" becoming "lol what if i dyed my hair at 2 AM"

ive been watching a lot of tech videos recently and ive noticed that "doomscrolling" has apparently turned into a kind of buzzword that people are using to refer to general social media/phone addiction, which is not super surprising, but i keep noticing it
