We are deeply saddened by the death of Dame Penelope Keith, one of Britain's most distinguished actors, who joined the RSC in 1963. She appeared in landmark productions including The Tempest, Richard III and Julius Caesar establishing a remarkable stage presence that would define a 60 year career.

We are incredibly sad to hear that RSC Honorary Associate Artist Michael Pennington passed away at the age of 82 yesterday. A Shakespearean to his very bones, Michael’s long & distinguished career with us spanned an astonishing 50 years. Our thoughts go to all those who knew him.
