Said goodbye to our beloved flat. The new house is a bit like Pangea, with everything we own smushed together into one continent in the living room. But home will emerge soon.
An unforeseen flaw with the new place is the disgusting old toilet seat which appears to be glued to the toilet???? We cannot get it off 😭

The new place is lovely, the new place is going to be wonderful and we will create many new memories in it. But, man, repeatedly coming back to an increasingly empty flat that we still adore is so sad.

Top writing advice I just received from a non-writing friend, which actually kinda slaps: you're just making it up, so if you make it believable, people will believe it. So just do that.
I hate my phone so much. I bought it because my old one's screen literally fell off and, because it was ancient, the cost of repairing it was more than the value of the phone. But this one suuuuucks.
