My cat is pretty big. He tried to fit into a tiny cardboard box and ripped one of the walls completely. Even when he does not fit, he sits. Happy #caturday!

I make one line, over-simplified book summaries. There are a lot of books out there, but not all of them are good. I am many things in life. But here, I’m mostly sharing bookish things. https://www.youtube.com/@theamazingkimmoth
Fav thing to do when students who use AI deny it: read a paragraph aloud to them. (Cue dramatic elocution 😅) Suddenly, somehow… hearing that straaange diction & syntax removes all of the “my mom helped me” & “I used a thesaurus” excuses. They just stare at the screen & go, “Ok, yeah.” #teaching
Not every book needs to have a sequel. Let the reader always want more. Also, don’t use AI. Not the cover art, not for help in the plot. Nothing. #booksky

A few seconds ago, I finished Descent of Angels by Mitchel Scanlon and I have questions. I think I will always be a #warhammer noob. #booksky
I made a quick summary of the Warhammer book, Galaxy in Flames. It’s barely two minutes long, so you can quickly decide if this book is for you. Please hop on over to my YouTube channel and give it a watch! #booksky #warhammer youtu.be/R0kFM-IyQ_M?...

Everybody, myself included, thinks they have the best dog. And you know what? We're all right.
Since I normally read in the afternoon or evening, I drink some sort of hot herbal tea while I read. I don’t eat snacks in general, so I don’t do that while reading. Besides, I don’t want to get food bits on the page 🤢 #booksky

Yes! I started a novel a few years ago, but it wasn’t a priority so I never kept working on it. One day… #booksky

It may be this book, but dark academia books are not for me… #booksky
My favorite banned book is Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. It's a satirical novel that critiques the Soviet Union, and for that it was banned for years and then heavily censored when allowed to be published. рукописи не горят! #booksky #bookishQOTD #BannedBooksWeek

I was approved for an ARC audiobook! I’m a bit new to the ARC thing, but I hope I’m this excited with every book I’m approved for! #booksky
The hero’s journey, hands down. The person finding out who they are and what they are capable of, then following through with the task is so beautiful to watch unfold. #booksky

Just watched a documentary about Oskar Dirlewanger. I'm going to watch puppy videos for the next half hour now.

Good morning, amazing souls. Let’s end the week on a good note.
My favorite genre would have to be specifically folk horror. Something about the cult-like supernatural but being from an earth-based religion gets me. I recommend Withered Hill by David Barnett! #booksky

Something that I’m seeing a lot of in modern writing - it’s mostly the MC’s thoughts. Barely any action. No development of the world or other characters. Just blabbing about thoughts and feelings. I know some folks relate to it, but I find it rather boring. #booksky
I just unfollowed over 100 accounts on here. Most have not updated for over a year. Kind of sucks, because I remember interacting with these folks and enjoying the conversations. I hope they are doing well, but it shows that this app had a huge boom, then was abandoned by many....
