Grief, comes in waves. When the ship is first wrecked, you're drowning, with wreckage all around you. Everything floating around you reminds you of the beauty and the magnificence of the ship that was, and is no more. And all you can do is float.

Verify your age: I was born the year the wall fell. I grew up with the OG Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Goosebumps. I got to experience the world before and after the internet was invented. It was simpler, but it wasn’t perfect… And now all I want is to be a kid again.

The constant pursuit of happiness is unsustainable. it is one extreme on a sliding scale. It comes and it goes…but if you aim to be content, then life becomes pleasant. Happiness starts to come more often and despair less so. It still comes but at the end of it, you return to contentedness.
