Neoliberalism is a losing strategy - lost TWICE to Trump. You're either the party prioritizing working people or the party prioritizing capital. You cannot be both. Bernie's coalescing energy because he's calling out the oligarchy take over and fighting for giving working people economic security.

Really don't want to hear GOP bragging about being the party of creating jobs when they're letting a billionaire fire thousands of working class people for no good reason other than because Elon said so.

5 years ago on February 22 the day Bernie was in Iowa City for his "Fighting Oligarchy" tour, he won the Nevada caucus by a landslide solidifying his front-runner status in the crowded 2020 Dem primary. And being totally real, that was the last time I had real hope for the future of our country.

And according to Musk, the working class is going to have to experience "temporary hardship" for "long-term prosperity." Too many in the working class are already struggling living paycheck to paycheck while the 1% thrive. It's long overdue for the 1% to start paying their fair share of taxes.

It seems almost unavoidable at this point that we are headed for a deep, deep recession. Just based on 200K+ federal firings & pullback of contracts, the March employment report (to be released April 4) seems certain to show bigger job losses than any month ever outside of a few in 2008-9 and 2020.

We have to stop framing the political narrative as left versus right, and frame it as the people versus capital. Each side is defined by whose economic interests are being prioritized. We have a 2-party system where both Dems + GOP fight for capital - their corporate + billionaire donors.
