Sure, it's annoying to have to wait out a hold on a library book, but in a world where we're being told people are stupid and they don't read, how amazing is it that there are 7-100 people in your community RIGHT NOW wanting to read the same book as you?

Menace. Generally can be found in the woods.
My favorite part about having a clever teenager is having someone a little bit smarter than me help me figure stuff out sometimes. Yes, they haven't learned that sometimes things in the fridge are behind other things in the fridge, but they just helped me solve a map problem for a book sooo 🤷🏼♀️
It's not ADHD, it's time travel adventuring. If I start try to start laundry and look up three hours later with no clean clothes, the pantry disassembled, every book I own on the kitchen table, and I'm in the shed organizing wrenches, I've gone on a time travel adventure.
This one was a ride to write, to live, and to see people respond to

What is your understanding of the phrase "Out of pocket"? My first encounter with it was along the lines of acting wildly or inappropriately. See Clipping's "He out of pocket, you should stab him in the throat."
On this, the lord's Friday morning, please reflect on what the Philosopher Jidenna once spoke: "The lady ain't a tramp, just 'cause she bounce it up and down like a trampoline."
You ever see a flag at half mast and think about the wrong death? Anyway, I appreciate all these Sam Neill tributes I've seen
Idk what the neighbors are doing but they've been driving skidsters and little tractors for two straight days and I'm starting to get pissed off because they haven't one asked me if I want a turn
Someone complimented my skin at a party last night and I told them it was a careful regiment of 40% deet and wandering through the woods and that's how you figure out if someone is your type of person or not

Also I took my car to a dealership recently for some warranty work and the radio was playing Alice Cooper when the service tech opened the door and he went "Ohh, Shania Twain!" And I can't stop thinking about him. I hope he's okay.
One of my favorite bits is trying to explain the concept of the 1997 smash action hit Face/Off to people younger than me. It never goes well. I never get tired of it.
First avenging angel mushroom I've seen since last fall
I've started to refer to all the kinky smut I read as "self-help books" and I'm still just as single but at least 37% funnier to myself
Sometimes after a workout, I think "I am a little faster and a little stronger than my demons today" but I gotta be honest, I worry they're getting faster and stronger too
I think understanding how our brains work is important And I'd never knock anyone for getting a diagnosis But I think there's something to be said for the way of our fathers And embracing being completely feral and unhinged without a label.
"I spent all the money I would have used to pay for your nursing home on therapy instead" might only be a funny sentiment if you had really toxic parents, but it's cracking me up today
I was trying to fall asleep and then I got to thinking about how blown the mind was of the first person to see a stick bug for a bug must have been and now I can't sleep at all
What am I looking for in dating prospects? Oh, same as any single woman, I think. Just need someone willing to eat that there snack cracker in their special outfit for me Is that really asking so much?
The thing nobody tells you about aging is that sometime in your thirties, you stop knowing where your arms are supposed to go when you sleep.
