If you winder how much $ social media sites are raking in, Meta just agreed to an $18b- yes, that’s 18 billion- settlement over teen protections rather than go to trial. If they can afford to settle for $18 billion because going to trial would be more costly, well, that should tell you something!

From his speech just now, it sounds like Cassidy will vote yes on Blanche. He quotes Bill Barr’s support of Blanche (like, why would we expect otherwise?) He also indicates the Blanche is a lesser-of-two-evils choice. Now, there’s a ringing endorsement for ya!

Sen. Kennedy on Face the Nation, says Trump likes daily attacks on Iran because “sometimes you have to kill a few chickens in order to shake up the monkies.” That’s crass even for a Republican! The folksy delivery doesn’t excuse the grossness of the sentiment!

Luttig: As a candidate for attorney general of the United States of America, Blanche is an embarrassment to America itself. If the Republican Senate confirms this man, based on his record, to be the next attorney general, it will mark the end of the rule of law in America.

Sen. E Schmidt on recent NY election: “hammer and sickle wave” suggests “This is not your grandfather’s Democratic Party.” Actually, my grandad was a Republican & it’s my guess that a Republican pedophile in the White House wasn’t his idea of the Republican Party, so there you go. Times have change!

Germans turned in their neighbors for hiding Jews. What would you do if the government asked you to rat out your friends and neighbors? Here’s a story about a comedian who set up a prank hotline for people to turn in illegal immigrants. What do you think happened? www.npr.org/2026/05/04/n...

A comedian launched a fake DHS tip line to report undocumented immigrants

Comedian Ben Palmer specializes in pranks. One of his more recent ideas for a prank was to set up a fake tip line for people to call in and report undocumented immigrants. He got hundreds of calls.
