X-Men Apocalypse in 2016 was a flawed film but at least it made Apocalypse a core part of the story to some extent, It didn’t always succeed at that task but at least he didn’t disappear for huge chunks for the film like he did in Season 2 of 97
And so X-Men 97 Season 2 has ended and friends I am pretty disappointed, It started great with the rise of Apocalypse but sadly this season did not know what to do with that character and he felt sidelined until an underwhelming finale, Apocalypse should be the driver of his stories, the rocks …

Based on a uniform swing in the Roy Morgan the gov would lose 9 seats if an election were held this Saturday, But one isn’t being held until at least March 2028 at the earliest so it’s all just guessing games at this point
I really hope X-Men 97 Season 2 ends well but so far this season has been a mess, - It started really well culminating in Episode 4 but has meandered ever since, a lot of the scripts feel rewritten - A lot of the emotion has been put on one character we barely saw in Season 1 before they died

I did enjoy the 25 years retrospective on Insiders yesterday but the impact of COVID on the fracturing of the electorate was ignored, Telling people for 2 years to stay home and keep your distance and temporarily require papers to cross state line has not helped and may have made the fracture worse
I really hope Warner Brothers re-releases Dune 1 and 2 in cinemas before Part 3 opens in December as I would love to see those films again on the big screen
