Whenever I pick up a new Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid manga I've already forgotten who all these characters are, why they're all related to each other and what they were up to in the meantime. This series has become so convoluted, it's a prime example for this comic.

For no particular reason, I feel I should mention I updated my RPG Fan Translation Directory a few days ago with a bunch of new/missing titles, and also a very important change in the last paragraph.

In a time where lesbian art is under enormous pressure to be accommodating to the heterosexual view, shrinking it until it's invisible is just not interesting to me. We should be louder, and prouder, and refuse to go down without showing the complex and beautiful lives of sapphic love.

After a good night's pondering (that show really did a number on me) I now know what struck me as so odd in #sayonaralara 's ending. The theme of the show was love all along - Lara finding love, the premise being an unrequited love, love being destructive and bitter and healing, love, love, love.

Nope, don't agree with that ending to Sayonara Lara one bit. I can't believe that *this* is it. Maybe one day I'll read a lengthy discourse about why this story is extremely relevant to queerness in Japan specifically and then I'll be able to get it, but for now, I'm just... at a total loss.

Wait, Tai-Ari deshita was Yuri all along?! They seriously downplayed that part after episode 2, but now it's strikingly obvious again and I could only be happier if they played Soulcalibur instead of SF. EVERYBODY! IT WAS YURI ALL ALLOOOONG!

Fun fact: "Reviewing an AI made translation" is more work for translators than just translating it themselves, because AI translations do not pass the sniff test beyond the most superficial. It's a loophole companies use as an excuse to underpay translators, and nothing else.

I think the reason most Magic players are fed up with Jace is that he was created and pushed under the misconception that most players want to be like him, the cool mind mage who knows everything 3 turns ahead, while the majority of us wants to be either some goblin or a lesbian elf.

YouTube is hiding ‘The Lovers,’ an adult animated short that took four years to create, from search results due to an age restriction.

Dunno how I managed that but my Bluesky "For You" feed now exists entirely of drawings of Lara and Mari kissing and yes, that is *very* For Me.

I think about this a lot, esp. when I question my sanity for not liking that book/film/game everyone's fawning about. Never underestimate how far people are willing to go to convince themselves that they like things to join those who know what *real* art is. You have the *right* to dislike stuff!
