UPDATE #dramionefic the serpent under it e, 6/24, 3k 🥀 death eater draco malfoy 🥀 unhinged hermione granger 🥀 enemies to (eventual) lovers 🥀 and i mean it in that “no one can kill you but me” way 🥀 not hallows and not horcruxes but a secret third thing

[the serpent under it cover art, which features the still art “pomegranate photography” by vlad loktev. in this piece, there is a pomegranate roughly split into thirds, crimson seeds spilling onto the newspaper beneath. the background is otherwise black. the description of this art piece says it is digital photorealism from 2017, but to me it’s sort of giving old school vanitas painting in terms of color and texture. over the background, there is a faint, dark green snakeskin pattern, with only the pomegranate visible above the texture. at the top, in scratchy all-caps handwriting, the text reads “the serpent under it.” and, beneath that, in a crisp sans serif font, “a voldemort wins au.” in the bottom right, in much smaller font, the text reads “by ninepiecesofcrait.”][screenshot of an ao3 fic summary that reads as follows: “the serpent under it by ninepiecesofcrait” Resigned to his eventual death at the hands of the very monster he serves, Draco Malfoy stumbles onto another way out—out of the war, out of the Death Eaters, maybe even out of his inevitable demise…   Hermione Granger: The Girl Who Went Mad.]

Flying instructor!Draco only ever glances up at the stands when Professor!Hermione turns up to shoo away the students sneaking in to watch him inspect brooms before practice. “Exhibitionist,” she mutters, loud enough for him to hear. “Only when you’re watching, Granger.” #dracomalfoy #dramioneart
