On occasion, I check my Google Scholar profile (yeah, yeah, we all get the occasional narcissistic act). This time I checked and was honored to be heavily featured in a MA student’s thesis. It’s a surreal feeling to this day, being a published author and seeing my work positively influencing others!

I came in with absolutely no expectations for Star Trek’s Starfleet Academy but each and every episode they surpass them entirely. Particularly, episode 5’s Series Acclimation MIL was such an endearing, insightful, and above all loving tribute to DS9. I’ve been in tears since.
