Unexpected medical bills that I wasn't told about when I initially asked during the urgent care visit are another "joy" of the US healthcare system.

The American healthcare system seems specifically designed to deny low income individuals care. "Well if you just took better care of yourself" stops being a valid excuse when it comes to chronic issues a person has no control over. Insurance is a scam. Healthcare should be a right not a life debt.

My stance on AI is not particularly complex, frankly it seems like a cut and dry issue to me- FUCK AI. I'm not going to vilify people for using it, but I will vilify the predatory companies who have enabled the unregulated use of this highly addictive and intellectually destructive "tool".

One of my favorite things is to see my friends find happiness and comfort within themselves. Gender euphoria is an alien feeling for me as I'm still not wholly sure what my relationship even is with my own gender identity, but seeing other people experience that is vicariously very joyful.

For those unaware, the term "fanny" in the US refers to the butt. When we say that someone "slipped and fell on their fanny" we do not mean that they slipped and fell vagina first.

This should happen in EVERY. STATE. Take New Jersey's lead, trans rights are human rights.

Don’t know who to credit for this. But it is how I feel.

I'm at my wits end with AI slop and losing jobs because someons would rather take the easy, cheap, and souless option. I can't compete with that. I need to find a different line of work.

There's nothing quite like waking up with sciatic nerve pain and the immediately having to deal with life.

Growing up I was repeatedly told that we lived in a country of opportunity and freedom, that if people needed help we had systems to help them. Where are they now? SNAP is losing funding, our heathcare is a joke, all of the things I grew up hearing were sacchrine lies.

All the systems that had been put in place here in the US to help people who are struggling are failing or being dismantled. I'm at a loss as to what to do anymore.

I would give just about anything for a hot meal and a nap.
