"... fed officials admit that $7.5B reduction in clean energy funding based solely on whether states had voted for Kamala Harris. In contrast, the administration funded grants for states that had backed trump, though the Energy Department had recommended they be cancelled." - Heather Cox Richardson
You know it's bad when Mrs. Betty Bowers Just. Can't. Satire.
The Pentagon is withholding causality and hit numbers. The CDC is withholding infection rates. The FDA is withholding information about food contamination. The EPA is withholding pollution and climate data. This corrupt administration is ALL about concealing the consequences of its incompetence.
It's a concert with a dance floor. Accessorize accordingly.

Life is exhausting these days for lots of us, and I think I’ve figured out why. I think it’s having to sit through the pretending... johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/americans-...
An award-winning photo (#19) from our video wall, entitled "Outpost."
Drunk uncle Nancy sees "transgenic mice," ignores the spelling, rails on about transgender mice. All the drunks at the bar began to sing along. Maybe look it up? Transgenics alters genomes, not genders; arguably worse, but a common technique used on mice in research labs to test drug effectiveness
We don't have a video wall at the Rockfish tonight in Anacortes, 7:30-10, and it's way past tulip season. But what the hey ... this video-wall image #19 is a field at Tulip Town entitled "popcorn." Which you had to eat a whole lot of, if you were patiently watching the front of the Kennedy Center.
We had great fun at the Old Edison on Saturday, and at the Anacortes Waterfront festival on Sunday. Next stop on the tour ... right down the road a piece at the Rockfish Grill, Saturday June 13 7:30pm in Anacortes.
I'll be singing "Such a Night" tonight at the Old Edison in Bow/Edison, WA. The good Dr. is in heavy rotation at my house.

Cool, I can dig some Gaga. Maybe the guy just likes the design. Nah, he probably knows. But you have to wonder what those Chinese-character t-shirts and tattoos Americans wear are really saying.
I suspect this might be the best photo I ever take
No matter where you put them, they are going to accelerate global warming exponentially. 10,000 new data centers are expected by 2030. If built, the one in Utah is expected to raise local temperatures by 28 degrees at night, transforming a semi-arid climate into a desert.
I don't want a data center near me. Do you? China has an innovative solution to this ugly and costly problem. #DataCenters www.scientificamerican.com/article/chin...
Sunday, we headline the Anacortes Waterfront Festival. We'll have the Ozempic Horns for this one, appropriately featuring Keith Stone who literally lives IN the waterfront (on a boat).
This Saturday, we rock the Old Edison, with special guest Cary Stevens from The Atlantics on drums.
Good luck to Mary Ellen and the Band today. Should be interesting this afternoon. Dueling decibel meters, dancers, and the Seattle press.
It's on.
Every day the deficit grows You spend more than you own Papa always said to me "Keep a close eye on your authority" You say that you care I was unaware You say that you care I was unaware All you do is push, pull, tear We can't stretch it any farther -- Allen Stone, "Unaware"
Video Wall Image #19 (yes, they are all #19) some of our fans from Stanwood, Washington.
The Fat Fridays band will NOT be performing at the Great American State Fair. Thank you for your lack of attention to this matter. Not that we were invited or anything.
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Sonny Rollins. The Saxophone Colossus died this afternoon at his home in Woodstock, NY at the age of 95. 1/2
Remember when we used to care about pollution? Seems so long ago.
We don't hear about this anymore but my point stands. 40 illegal attacks, almost 200 killed on the mere suspicion of drug trafficking. Evidence blown up, survivors murdered. Tons of diesel, human remains, detritus from explosives, and (they say) cocaine and heroin now contaminating the Caribbean.
I doubt that J.D. Souther wrote this back in 1975 with you-know-who in mind, but the chorus sure resonates. "You can't sleep at night in a solid gold room." youtu.be/Vk0RQkBWk3w?...
