Although the exact day is up for debate, September 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the Sega Master System in NA. Originally released in Japan on 10/20/85 as the Sega Mark III, this 8-bit console sold roughly 13 million units worldwide. It discontinued in 1992.

“Welcome to the 3rd Street Saints.” Today is the 20th anniversary of the release of ‘Saints Row’ on Xbox 360 in North America (8/29/06). This open-world crime action/adventure game from Volition was 1st game in the series. It reviewed well, and sold over 2 million copies.
