ANNNYWHOOO ... my favorite part of "a taste worth devouring" was writing sukuna and gojo's relationship. their back & forth. the lowkey son/father aspect they have. the power imbalance. writing them together was so easy. somehow easier than writing yuuji and sukuna. i can see why people ship them.

Chapter One: Redirecting his attention, Gojo holds a hand out to someone to his left. A tall, brooding personality with a pristine bun, except for a thick strand of hair that descends a chiseled jawline, and loose, black clothing. The other walks forth, latching his pinky into Gojo's. Now, they stand as equals — pinning idiots as they gaze deep into each other's eyes, as if the other holds the sun, the moon, and the stars within the universe. In their own little world. Eventually, their focus falls back onto Sukuna. "You remember Suguru, right?" Gojo asks, beaming. "How can I forget?" Sukuna starts. Gojo's smile cracks; he knows exactly where this is about to go. Sukuna only sneers. "Remember when I caught you two kissing in a closet in your first-year of high school? I've been literally waiting for you to come out for years now." "Oh my fucking — Why on God's green Earth would you bring that up now?" Sukuna shrugs. "You asked. I answered. Now stop whining and help us with our bags. I didn't notice Uraume already got them down." Gojo grumbles under his breath, but he swerves around Sukuna anyways, leaving a space between him and Geto.Chapter One: Gojo holds his phone up and shakes it at Sukuna. The screen is dark. "Have you checked your emails at all while you were on vacation?" "My emails?" Sukuna echoes. "How did you get into my account? I put a sixteen number password on it so you couldn't." Gojo laughs. It has an innocent ring to it, but it makes Sukuna's skin crawl. Makes him feel small. Insignificant in a world where things usually matter. He digs his nails into his left palm to stop himself from scalping the flesh, and to keep his mood in check. Uraume and Geto have both disappeared into the sea of moving bodies, loud laughter, and excited children. "Silly lamb," Gojo starts, "you should know better to forget what's yours is also mine. That’s what happens when you become the Gojo family's lap dog. 'Sides, you have bigger fish to fry than a useless password that a child could figure out." "How so?"Chapter Two: Oh, how Old Head Gojo would be mortified if he were still alive. But Gojo Satrou only lives to overturn his father's rule while he rots away in his grave. Maybe if the old clan head had been kind … Gojo continues, "I haven't seen a pair of titties since my early teen years.
