I quit drinking 3,275 days ago that's a handful of days off 9 years. As I ponder things that are still somewhat challenging: Work Christmas parties Weddings Dancing ...that's it. Everything else is better.

One of those rare days when the imposter briefly fucks off and leaves a fleeting feeling that I might actually be good at this
Hope your Autumn is mild and filled with perfect sticks and paths free of people
Some good blue sky Autumning And some good sticky stick action
Do not buy into advice from those approaching 40, nor the promise that the uncertainty of your late 20s eases The arrogance that you spend your 20s carefully curating, gently gives way to the realisation that you truly have no fucking clue what you are doing And are now also culturally irrelevant
Those who are 35+, what advice do you have for people just entering their 30s?
Todays walk Wind had just blown out, finally. Autumn doing what it does, before everything turns to slimy shite
There is touch screen payment at the airport drop off. It never ceases to amaze me how people who have been using smart phones for 15 years turn into "baby's first touch screen" when confronted with the simplest task Type in your reg "OMG WUT" *mashes palm onto screen* "IT DUNT WERK" *lick*
The weird thing about kids is, it can be surprisingly hard to get them to reply despite having the phone permanently glued to their face
Sorry to anyone who lives nearby but Leeds-Bradford airport is the arsehole of the world to get to
In the local woods, they have over-engineered a solution for dogs crossing fence lines. These liftable portcullis type affairs. Low key obsessed 🥰
Torches are back for the evening walks. Trying not to lose the smol dog in the big woods.
I remember a day that parcels received were not tractor parts. But it was not this day. What is happening?
Summer doing ok again Waiting for Blackberries in the Cotswolds
Particularly enjoying the raw sewage pumping into a public park over the back fence every time it rains Reported 5 days ago to @severntrentwater.bsky.social Who needs the beach when they can bring it to you
I've been restoring an old 1950's Ferguson tractor. I bought it as a non-runner 6 months ago. Today it drove under its own power. I know this is drier that the sahara for some, but i've really been enjoying it. Not sure what it is. Calms me down and makes me smile
