Heard a six year old was hit by a car in the neighborhood and the fucker sped off. They're in the hospital and gonna be OK, but our neighborhood has no speed limit and I've seen way too many people hauling ass. Slow the fuck down.

Got the shit taxed out of our bonus, which I would be fine with if it wasn't going to this administration. I somehow made less than what I normally would have with the same hours. Probably get some back come tax time, but still.

Found out a few days ago, I somehow subscribed to Jacob Geller at some point. I think I've maybe watched a video of his for like five minutes before wandering off. He's the same mold as the guys in the Cornell 7. A rapist is a rapist whether they're a dudebro fratboy or a bearded youtuber.

Saw Primetime today. Great performances all around, and 2026 truly is the year of the Robert Pattionson. Whether it be berating beggars, pinching predators on primetime, or dawning on a new do for Dune, he's on it.

Raising the price of C4 packs on Amazon again. Fuck it, I'll pick it up in store where it's cheaper. I guess the master strategy here is to keep raising prices indefinitely and hope don't eventually say screw this shit?

We did teriyaki-pineapple beef short ribs on the Komado Joe Jr. Kept it low, nice and smoky with some chunks of mesquite wood. Sucks not having the fam around. What's the point of cooking if I don't get constant praise over it?

Feels like critics need to do some late mea culpa about liking these shows and I'm pretty tired of it. People liked shows with shitty guys in it, get over it. People still watch and love The Sopranoes and Breaking Bad. I'm tired of the endless therapy session over it www.nytimes.com/2026/09/26/o...
