It's really dry on the Montgomery Canal at Llanymynech at the moment, with Powys recording just 5% of usual July rainfall. But luckily, this buddleia seems to be doing well and attracting butterflies. #UKCanals
We are soon going to be looking for volunteers to help with the refurbishment of our wonderful wheelchair-accessible narrowboat at Llanymynech Canal Wharf. If you could make a donation - even just a fiver - towards the works, we'd be so grateful. pay.sumup.com/b2c/Q5XXJNSS #UKCanals

It's Saturday again and volunteers are getting ready to welcome you this afternoon.
As a charity, our volunteers at Llanymynech Canal Wharf visitor centre work hard to inform visitors about the Montgomery Canal. Due to the lack of water in the canal they can't run boat trips, so your visit would really help support them. Diolch yn fawr iawn. #UKCanals
We are proud to display a card from @euansguide.com in the Llanymynech Canal Wharf visitor centre reminding people to let the red cord in disabled toilets hang to the floor. #UKCanals themontgomerycanal.org.uk/small-card-c...

It's going to be very warm in #Shropshire and #Cymru today, our visitor centre volunteers in Llanymynech on the border, would love to welcome you this afternoon for a cold drink or ice cream. X76 bus stops right outside the heritage area.
If you might be interested, why not visit the centre and have a chat with our volunteers?
We are looking to recruit a couple more skippers and crew for Llanymynech Canal Wharf next year. Do you know anyone who might be interested? themontgomerycanal.org.uk/george-watso...
