K so like, I did accidentally take the wrong bus this morning for a bit and then had to walk back a mile but luckily caught a hitch back to the terminal for most of it. But! I made it to Chicago!!

Update! I made it to Allentown PA airport and I'm in love. The prices are like.. reasonable? My flights on time? And I'm the only one at the bar. They also have a little free library!!!

Photo of me alone at a bar. The airport is empty around me. A little free library in the airport!!

K so I guess travel thread? Hi I'm T and I've traveled a lot, a lot of different ways, and I've had nearly every serious no-injuries related travel delay you can have. I'm currently stranded in Newark trying to get to Indy and the best United can do for me from here is a flight two days from now.

Oh yeah, I left Hachette back in April cause I didn't agree with their new direction. BUT the games coming out at Gen Con from them are still from my time there. The team and I particularly loved Omens.

I'll be at Gen Con! I'm mostly there to assist two of my clients, but I do have a small bit of availability if anyone wants to talk shop. Steve has decided my company should be "Mary Poppins of Sales & Marketing" but I'm lacking flying umbrella skills 🤣 DM if you wanna see if I can help!

We've been playing games again. For fun. Shocker, I know This week it's been Jekyll & Hyde vs Scotland Yard, a co-op two player trick taker that makes me now want to murder Steve. (Yes I play Hyde, why do you ask?)

Photo of the cards from Jekyll and Hyde that are frankly, confusing for someone attracted to men-presenting because both Jekyll and Hyde are rawr

I am so happy right now, y'all. I'm working for a few different publishers, helping them with their business goals without worrying about politics and drama and nothing but THEIR goals and it's so fucking great.

It is garden time! I'm already having to harvest and freeze celery and chard. Every meal has lettuce right now. Still working through last year's canned/frozen tomatoes. This year I'm going to get me a jar of beans from my garden!

I read 232 books in 2025. I tracked that instead of games because honestly, most all my plays were work related - for good or bad. I rated 45 of those books 5 stars. I read mostly fiction, but I like to do a few non-fiction books every month and I starred 6 of them 5 stars. Here's that list.

K so I'd forgotten I hate making slide decks. If I just screenshot my Amazon Seller Central a bunch and slap them in a deck, will that work for my Monday presentation? Lol
