Mario Party 4 is pretty good. Not as good as 3, but better than 1. Probably equal to 2, though I'm not 100% settled on that opinion yet.

I've beaten Mario Sunshine dozens of times before, but never 100% until today. The 2 things I'd never done before were the blue coins and lily pad red coins. I've always heard terrible things about those, so I never seriously attempted either one until this playthrough
I'm playing through every Mario game in order, and I caught a detail that I never noticed before. I've always noticed that Luigi's overalls were made more purple in SMW, but I somehow never realized that they've kept that change ever since. Although they've desaturated them quite a bit by now.

Just replayed Paper Mario 64 for the first time in probably a decade and I've developed a new theory. I have very little evidence in support of it, but nothing that I can think of that outright disproves it. I will not elaborate any further.
