When you watch one of your kids do everything right and the universe does not reciprocate, it just tugs at you. Then you notice your kid doubling down, renewing their efforts and you realize CRNA school might as well wave the white flag because she's not giving up or going away.

To this day I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that so many people I've known for decades just abandoned every decent thing they stood for to support a person who's very 1st and last thought is what can I do for me.

I still can't believe we're going to do this all over again because a few million of our fellow citizens live in an alt reality. The chaos, the crazy, the ineptness, the cruelty, the manipulation, the fake crisis, fake deals, fake christians, the ring kissing, ass 💋 are all acceptable.
This is not 2016 or 2020. Maybe it's time for a different approach. If Trump and his minions are going to crash the economy & make millions of people suffer needlessly because his feelings got hurt, what should our response look like? What could we do to turn those affected into votes for decency?
I don't know about the rest of you but it feels like we were always going to end up here, I just never thought it would happen so fast and that the figurehead would be someone who is the exact opposite of everything we raise our kids to be.
