Heart of the Beast: After surviving a plane crash, a former special forces soldier (Brad Pitt) finds himself trapped in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness with his combat dog. Together, they battle the elements and other animals in a harsh landscape that would likely kill any other man or dog.

Digger: Tom Cruise is Digger, the most powerful man in the world as he embarks on a frantic mission to Greenland to stop a glacier to prove that he's humanity's savior. This dark comedy is from the Oscar winning director of Birdman and The Revenant.
Forgotten Island: Set in the Philippines in the early 1990's, two best friends Raissa and Jo become stranded on the mystical island world of Nakali, where their only escape might cost them their shared lifetime of memories. DreamWorks' latest film that is from the same directors as The Last Wish.
Runner: A former soldier (Owen Wilson) finds himself in a brutal race against time when a critical medical delivery makes him and his unlikely partner the target of a ruthless cartel. As the mission spirals into a deadly manhunt, every detour, delay and bullet pushes them closer to failure.
Star Trek: Nemesis: Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise-E as they face a dangerous threat from Shinzon (Tom Hardy), a young human clone of Picard who seizes control of the Romulan Star Empire. A weak, derivative script, poor direction, weak box office, and overall a bad film.
Star Trek: Insurrection: Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise-E launch an open rebellion against Starfleet after uncovering a dark conspiracy. A weak film considered by many because it feels like a stretched-out, mediocre television episode rather than a major cinematic event.
Star Trek: First Contact: Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise-E pursue a time-traveling Borg sphere back to April 4, 2063, to stop the cybernetic Borg Queen from preventing Earth's historic first contact with an alien species.
Star Trek: Generations: With the help of long-presumed-dead Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner), Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) must stop a deranged scientist willing to destroy planetary systems to re-enter an idyllic, timeless energy dimension known as the Nexus.
i know it's a little late for me to say and post this. but happy birthday to my lovely tomboy friend, @therealsparky.bsky.social . here's something for her to appreciate. hope she likes it.
Tomorrow I will get back to reviewing the Star Trek movie marathon.
Primetime: To Catch A Predator makes television history when host Chris Hansen (Robert Pattinson). I wasn't expecting this one to be any good but since I haven't seen TCAP in a long time its still one of those Hollywood biopics that doesn't get everything right.
Resident Evil 2026: From the mind of Zach Cregger of Weapons (2025), a gritty reboot of the Resident Evil franchise, and so far the best adaptation. an unexpecting doctor gets trapped in the middle of a grotesque bio-weapon outbreak while trying to deliver a last-minute package to Raccoon City.
Transformers One: The animated origin story of Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth) and Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry) better known as sworn enemies, but who once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. After they learn their leader is a scumbot their relationship sours
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts: Set in the 90s, Optimus Prime and the Autobots team up with a down on his luck young man, an aspiring historian and with a powerful group of Transformers known as the Maximals to combat a sinister force from outer space that threatens the Earth and all of mankind.
Bumblebee: an 18-year-old grieving mechanic named Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld) who discovers a battle-scarred, hidden Autobot named B-127 disguised as a yellow Volkswagen Beetle in a California junkyard. Transformers: Age of Extinction: Four years after Dark of the Moon, a struggling inventor named Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) finds a gravely wounded Optimus Prime, drawing the wrath of a covert CIA black-ops unit and a ruthless bounty hunter named Lockdown.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon: The Autobots and Decepticons race to uncover a hidden Cybertronian spacecraft called the Ark on the moon, leading to a massive invasion of Earth. Optimus Prime's idol Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy) betrays the Autobots and builds a space bridge for the Ark.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: Sam Witwicky as he tries to start a normal life in college after the first film's events during high school, only to be hunted by the Decepticons led by Megatron and the Fallen after Sam's mind fills with ancient alien symbols. Its the 1st sequel to the 2007 film
Transformers (2007): An ancient struggle between two Cybertronian races, the heroic Autobots lead by Optimus Prime and the evil Decepticons led by Megatron, comes to Earth, with a clue to the ultimate power held by teenage Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf).
Transformers the Movie (1986): The Autobots try to stop a giant, planet-eating robot named Unicron while fighting off a massive attack by the Decepticons. RIP Peter Cullen. Happy 40th anniversary. Based off the 1984 TV series. The first feature film based on Hasbro's Transformers line of toys.
I'm surprised I haven't done the Transformers movies on here. But don't worry they'll be on here.
Practical Magic 2: Sally Owens (Sandra Bullock) and her sister Gillian (Nicole Kidman) try to break the centuries-old family curse that dooms the men they love, by shielding Sally's adult daughters Kylie and Antonia, from their magical heritage by making them forget about witchcraft.
Practical Magic: Raised by their witch aunts (Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing) after their parents pass away, Sally and Gillian Owen (Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman) grow up dealing with small-town prejudice and a family curse ensuring that any man who falls in love with an Owens woman will die
Tom and Jerry and the Forbidden Compass is the latest bad film in the Tom and Jerry franchise since this CGI film made in China has the duo sidelined into glorified side characters in an over-complicated, loud, and bizarre Chinese-mythology fantasy plot. They are in ancient China to find a compass.
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country: Capt. James Kirk (William Shatner) and the crew of the USS Enterprise are carrying Klingon Chancellor Gorkon (David Warner) to Earth to negotiate a peace treaty with the United Federation of Planets. The final feature film with the original Star Trek cast.
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier A renegade Vulcan makes Kirk (William Shatner), Spock (Leonard Nimoy), McCoy (DeForest Kelley) and the USS Enterprise go to a planet at the center of the galaxy. Easily one of the worst Star Trek movies due to an overly ridiculous plot and poorly handed philosophies.
Star Trek: The Voyage Home: Admiral James T. Kirk and his fugitive crew travel back in time to 1986 San Francisco to find humpback whales and save Earth from a destructive alien probe. Because humans hunted these whales to extinction by the 23rd century, the crew must find them in the past.
