Important update about my Aspects of Aelda duology. As I say below, I can't begin to thank everyone for supporting me and other Atthis authors, both publicly and privately. It means a lot to me and I'll be paying it forward where I can 🦑💜

Dear friends and fans of the Aspects of Aelda duology,
Atthis Arts has officially returned my rights to both Catalyst and Castoff, meaning the books will be out of print as of July 31, 2026.
In the spirit of full disclosure, these rights were reverted without my requesting them, due to “disappointing sales” and the need for “a publisher better positioned to market to [my] specific reader base.” There was no mention of my statement from last month.
The sad truth is that from the moment I addressed the public and private behavior of Atthis’ owners last year, next to no effort was put into promoting my books, including when Castoff released. There’s a pattern there that’s tied to where Atthis’ owners center their energy and attention. Frankly, that isn’t how a publisher should operate.
Getting my rights back from such a publisher means I can breathe again, though.
I’ll be figuring out what’s next for these books with my agent, but you can count on there being more Aelda in my future.
Thanks again to everyone for their support, here and in private, during a pretty stressful period as an author. It continues to mean a lot, and I’ll be paying it forward wherever I can.
