One thing I enjoy about books like The Lord of the Rings and Dragonlance series is that the male characters are unashamed to cry, show love and embrace one another. It's so wholesome. Amazing that a multitude of empathetic scenes exist in books (stereotypically thought as for boys) from while ago.

Me & my team got canned just after the company reported another successful year that we contributed to. It's an "indie" studio/publisher. Success + hard work does not equal security. There are no rules around these layoffs bar nepotism, greed and total lack empathy. We have to support each other.
