Setting suns and rising moons across landscapes and cityscapes.
Blast the jets. Steer the rocket. Aim the fireworks. Feed the birds.
A falcon dives for a bird in five frames. They can reach over 200 mph.
a quiet moment about the passage of time. you make the sun set, the moon rise, and the melody play.
Between scenes, the transitions themselves are a core part of the experience. This one is based on how some whales use bubbles to group fish together before breaking through them in a single breach. We wanted the build-up to feel like a moment from a nature documentary.
Using match cuts to create moments of surprise in the rocket-to-fireworks transition, and the fireworks-to-baby-bird transition.
watching someone's eyes while they're reading. I've never seen reading depicted from this perspective, so I really wanted to make it ourselves
working on the interactions and transition between the fishes and the whale. using blues and purples along with movement to visually tie those scenes together.
