I enjoy me a kick drum with a giant thud. Then…double-kicking with that.
I was told yesterday that my melodic heavy acoustic rock songs should be the signature sound I stick with, like Black Hole Clutch and Cuz I Waited. I like the thought that I have a signature sound!
Cuz I waited To call you To reconnect with you Life is hard It’s too late I lost my chance Now you’re gone

Tonight is the night I finally publish my album to BandCamp for tomorrow’s release date.
I love this description of my music… “The Sound Ninja’s music blends intense guitar riffs, pounding drums and eerie melodies.”
Sometimes I get excited about my music and then instantly remind myself that I’m just a regular dude in Minnesota who loves making music. Gotta keep it real.

I did something naughty last night. I previously told myself that my album was completely done. Then…today…I turned the drums up a little bit on three songs. Oops. Now I’m done. ✅
Setting up the album on BandCamp. Working on getting lyrics in there accurately for each song.
Album Art handdrawn by my artistic friend Jessica Awes! Album coming soon…
Well, I put away my mics, including the nice vocal condensor, back into their cushiony carrying cases. Only tiny, and very picky, tweaks left in mixes…if I can find any. The album completion is SO close.
I love it when a fresh mix suddenly hits just right.
