I went looking for something more to read by Jeff VanderMeer, and found out he wrote another Southern Reach book! Oh boy, looking forward to this! Have to re-read the old ones first, though, starting with Annihilation. So good.
I get so exhausted by social gatherings. I wonder how much of that can be trained away, and how much is hardwired into your brain.

Och vi har SÅ mycket stuff att sälja, det mesta direkt från Japan: Figurer, dockor, blindbags, gachas, smått och gott. Allt kommer säljas billigare än man vanligtvis hittar i Sverige, om man hittar det alls.

Whoa, the OoT remake reminds me a lot of that Unreal fan recreation I've seen on YouTube, like… They've slapped on tons and tons of effects and extreme graphical fidelity, to the point of it looking… I don't know. I don't know what to think. I need to digest it a bit.

My dreams nowadays occasionally feature a certain obscure book by my favorite author, and a printed version of a webcomic I used to love, like 15-20 years ago, and I never finished reading. Both of these things do not exist in reality, and I'm DYING to read them
As I thought, updating my 2018 iPad Pro to iOS 26 was a bad idea. It unloads everything much quicker to save memory, and in general feels more laggy. No way to get back to previous versions either. I feel a new ipad purchase is getting closer and closer

In Ösmo, Sweden the eclipse looked like this. Mostly eclipsed by clouds. But the lights dimmed as if the sun had nearly set, even though it was pretty high in the sky. So that was cool.

Sometimes, weird things happen in the middle of the night. I sleep with earplugs. The other night, I woke up and had an itch in my ear, so I reached up and poked the earplug in that ear… And the plug vanished. While in my ear. There one moment, gone the next.
Sometimes I get lost in elaboate fantasies about the future, but then I remember who I am as a person and what my situation is. It's okay though, life is good as it is.
