"I am Marie Lumiere, ze acting Matriarch of ze Lumiere Family. Ho Ho Ho it is nice to meet you." In preparation for mothers day I'm, introducing Marie Lumiere, an OC from my line of OCs that I've been working on. The acting Matriarch of the Lumiere Family and also Alice's mother. *Check alt* #OC

The acting matriarch of the Lumiere family, Marie Lumiere. Marie cares for her family and is an acting head of the House of Light, along with other family heads. She cares for her family and loves them dearly. She is especially close to Alice, who was born during “The War.” Elementals live for quite a long time. Alexandre, her then husband, was on the front lines of “The War” who died in battle, making Marie a widow. After this she promised herself that she would never lose a loved one again. She quickly took Alexandre’s place as the acting head of the family, the matriarch. She would not strain her relationship with her daughters though. Her and Alice, especially during the war, would be inseparable. Alice would pick up a lot of her mannerisms from Marie. Even her love to compete, and develop her competitive side. To the point where the two of them are compared pretty often. Marie is one of the few people in the “known world” that can make Alice embarrassed. Alice even got her laugh from her mother. Though Alice’s mannerisms are far more “animated” than her mother’s. Whenever her family is in trouble, or is in a tight spot, she will always drop what she’s doing and help out. Her status isn’t just for show, she is an extremely powerful light elemental. Those who face her in combat don’t last very long. During serious situations she is very stern, quick and concise. Also very well spoken. When she meets Knight, she is glad that he has been looking after Alice in her stead. Depending on the choices that Knight makes on his journey, she will also join Knight and the rest of the crew on their journey. To the point of becoming a sort of mentor for Knight and Alice. She becomes close to Knight, just like her daughter.
