I've always felt that the ideal digital-to-physical approach in most cases would have been to just release the game digitally, let it go through its lifetime of patches, DLC and expansions, and when it's all done, THEN release a proper "Complete Edition" that can play on its own.

After I finish the latest, I'm considering posting the set here, if only to see how many others will see it, and get it.

Cutting it close for #MerMay, and also making up for not having a proper April post for last month, so here's a Mermaid April O'Neil. Creative energy has been down, due to April being a harder month for me, on top of it being the height of summer heat here, but it'll get easier as the rains start.

Does anyone even read this? Sound off in the comments if you did! Black and white shot of a mermaid version of April O'Neil as she swims with a quartet of suspiciously masked turtles. The pose was a challenge to do, and I might revisit it in the future to improve on it, should I get better ideas for it. Despite water being denser than air, it's still fun to make swimming characters look more like they're flying through deeper water, right? Funny thing, since I'm not very comfortable with deep water, as anyone who's been to a pool with me knows. One difficult aspect of this particular pose, is that it obscures some of my favorite personal details I like to add to my mermaids, namely their gills, their dorsal fin (both of which are still KINDA visible here), as well as a pair of fins that I give them that allow them some stability and movement on land. I have two main aquatic races planned for my story, though I don't have any actual plans yet for any significant characters in either (it's mainly set up as a possible story playground to draw from should an idea come up). There's a more traditional mermaid race, and there's one that are the half-serpent Naga, and they DO NOT like each other. Turns out that a female Naga is called a Nagini, which I don't feel is a name I can comfortably use, so that's something for the idea backburner to deal with. And if you really read all the way to here, tell me your favorite pizza topping! Personally, I love a greasy pepperoni!

Rosalina X Rose = Rosa! I was originally going to cross Rosalina over with Manon as "Harmon", since Rosalina's French name is "Harmonie", and Manon is French... see how the references are stretching like taffy... And then I thought of Rose. Anyways, more in the alt! #SuperMario #StreetFighter

As I mentioned in the main post, my original plan was to cross Rosalina over with Manon, because I was only thinking of using currently active characters in Street Fighter 6. Fortunately, I remembered Rose, and while having them with similar names was an easy get, the fact that Rose has the special move, "Soul Satellite", were she has soul energy orbs circle around her, it was a short hop to have "Star Satellites", using Rosalina's beloved Lumas, who also assist her in Super Smash Bros. Although the mental gymnastics trying to connect Rosalina and Manon by way of Manon's French nationality and Rosalina's corresponding name in the French editions of her games (ie. the actual French releases, not necessarily when you change the language to French on a US edition game) was a stretch worthy of Manon's high kicks. It was a fun mental exercise, but sometimes, I have to remember to keep it simple.

For realsies, today is the last day these posters will be on pre-order. Plan is to at the end of the day reduce the amount available to 1 each and after that they're gone. Digital may come back but physical is far less likely.
